With growing world population the demand for food and feed is increasing. Everyone in the world deserves enough food of safe and healthy quality.
Feed additives like
Bredol emulsifiers play an essential role in producing feed in an efficient way, thus increasing the availability of food.
There are several examples of improved utilization of equipment and raw materials thanks to use of Bredol emulsifier technology, and we are eager to develop further along this line.
In
pellet production it is possible to reduce the energy consumption through better distribution of fats and water improving the lubrication by help of Bredol systems. In many cases the productions capacity can be substantially increased. Pronounced improvement of the capacity utilization is also obtained in
extrusion processes typically used for aquaculture.
Calf milk replacer is another example where processes with lower energy consumption and higher flexibility as to choice of raw materials could be introduced thanks to the use of Bredol powerful emulsifier technology. In this way more milk can be available for human consumption while the calves get access to well balanced healthy feed based on other raw materials like vegetable proteins and cheaper fat sources.
We have always said that we as well as our customers using Bredol should be able to sleep well at night, not having to worry about problems in the plant or at the farms. Therefore considerable efforts have been put on securing product safety and quality. Regular cross functional quality meetings with all disciplines involved were introduced already in the 80:es. Today those meetings are important forums included in our
FAMI-QS certified quality system which together with ISO 9001, 14001, ResponsibleCare program and even stricter internal standards form the basis for a sustainable operation.
