AN Surface Chemistry, these are materials that are:
• converted by our customers to other chemical products
• blended into formulations
• or represented and sold by our distributor network
Intermediates may be considered chemical "building blocks" for transformation into desired commercial products. Manufacturers who purchase our intermediates may prepare competitive products or use chemistry that AkzoNobel does not practice. The majority of our products, however, are used in formulations.
Products such as Armeen® , Berol® , Witcolate® and many others in our broad portfolio of anionic, cationic and nonionic surfactants help satisfy a broad spectrum of industrial needs.
